Job Summary
Essential Functions
* Maintain sales staff through effective and efficient recruiting and motivational strategies.
* Define market potential by analyzing current market and strategies. Determine how to increase market share of existing products.
* Establish and maintain quality customer service support, and support company standards and policies.
* Provide performance statistics to Executive Management.
* Establish goals for department, determine strategies to meet and exceed goals.
* Evaluates industry and business trends for potential impact on the organization.
* Identifies new product and market opportunities and utilizes research to determine feasibility.
* Maintains familiarity with and constantly evaluates competition's products, prices, strategies, etc.
* Works closely with managers to establish sales goals and territories, ensuring sales objectives are being achieved.
* Develops and implements strategic sales plans, including new customers and market segments.
* Works with the HR department to review and design compensation structure and variable compensation plans for sales positions.
Knowledge and Skills/Technology Used
* Knowledge of products offered, extensive sales experience, focus on financial services preferred.
Typical Education
* High School diploma or equivalent
Typical Range of Experience
* Experience in sales management as well as performing sales duties.
License or Certification
* May require a valid driver's license
